1. Maps need to be updated at a substantial cost, exceeding the cost of a “NEW” product. If you don’t depend on updated maps, then this would be perfect GPS for you.

2. Limited warranty of six (6) months vs normal warranty of one year.

3. Hasseling with the customer service to find out that unit does not come with updated maps. Amazon printed review by R.Ned on June 8, 2009 that said he got the update from TOM TOM Customer Service. Very misleading and appears to be boardering on unfair and deceptive sale practice in most states.
